AGM 2011
Our 2011 Annual General Meeting was held on
Thursday 17th March at the Rickmansworth School, who looked after us
well with coffee, tea, and biscuits. Thank you, school and in particular
teacher Lucy Bristow whose personality and enthusiasm has made FoSL's
co-operation with the school so enjoyable.
46 people attended.
Not a bad turnout, but what a pity more didn't turn up as we completed our
main business in just over 30 minutes and then Dr Brenda Harrold. PhD, MSB
entertained us with a very interesting talk in which she examined the
relationship between plants and other wildlife under the title 'Friends and
Enemies'
There was a
presentation of a delightful water colour by one of our members, the
wildlife artist Anna Marret to FoSL's great friend, Andrew Hodges who
retired in March as environmental manager of Veolia Water.
We were particularly
pleased to welcome to our meeting, Jane Durney the new director of the
Herts and Middx Wildlife Trust whoThank you to all who attended.
Details of our 2012 AGM will be announced in due course.
