Work Party Sunday 6 April 2025

This month our volunteers concentrated on work in and around the cattle fields.

Over time, many of the posts gradually lean outwards due to the cattle's attempts to forage beyond the boundary and the soft nature of the ground. We have a method of straightening the posts, so our first group managed to complete this work in field 3 and part of field 2.  A second group worked on clearing branches that overhang the fencing and could potentially cause expensive damage to them. Finally, two vandalised fence rails on the coral section between fields 2 and 3, and another rail on one of the kissing gates, were replaced.
